La Grave - La Meije

Highest point 3 550 m La Grave has the privilege of ranking amongst the most beautiful villages in France. The stone houses are arranged in tiers opposite La Meije, with roofs made of lauzes (typical local stone, flat and thick). In winter, its exceptional off-piste skiing area is one of the most famous in the world.
