The International Festival of Magic

An event not be missed by young or old, in the heart of the Eau d’Olle Valley. Everything is free of charge for a whole week, as if by magic: demonstrations, shows, courses…

  • What with the sporting events, exhibitions and all kinds of festivals and fairs, you won’t know what to do next! Here’s a brief glimpse of what’s on offer:
  • The Tour de France, the inescapable race along the roads of Oisans. And for seasoned fans, the two great classic touring cyclist races, the Marmotte and the Vaujany.
  • Not forgetting the Mégavalanche race, the longest mountain biking descent in the world! Set off from the Alpe d’Huez glacier and cycle down to the valley in the heart of the village of Allemont, a route that is 30 km long with a negative height difference of 2 800 m!
  • The Hay Fair, at the 2 Alpes, to relive one of the traditions of rural life. The Medieval Festival at the Alpe d’Huez, to go a little bit further back in local history!
  • Circus workshops in Vaujany, Bourg d’Oisans and Oz en Oisans, to let your children into the secrets of a fascinating world.
  • The Mountain Festival at La Bérarde, organised by the High Mountain Guides of the Vénéon Valley. SEP
